In general, the following phenomena will occur in the air-conditioning refrigeration system due to lack of fluoride, so you can judge whether the air-conditioning needs to add fluoride.

1. The air pipe valve is dry, and there is no obvious cold feeling when touching.

Cause: The lack of refrigerant causes the boiling end point in the evaporator to advance, so that the refrigerant of the valve increases excessively, and the temperature of the valve increases, which is higher than the leakage point temperature of outdoor air.

2. The liquid pipe valve is frosted.

Cause: lack of fluorine causes the pressure in the liquid pipe to drop, the boiling point to drop, and the valve temperature to be lower than the freezing point.

3. Open the panel of the indoor unit and remove the filter screen. Condensation or frost can be found on some evaporators.

Reason: due to insufficient refrigerant, only some evaporators boil and absorb heat, which reduces the cooling area accordingly.

4. There is no heat in the exhaust of the outdoor unit.

Cause: insufficient refrigerant will reduce the condensing pressure and temperature, and the exhaust air temperature will also decrease.

5. The drain hose drains intermittently or does not drain at all.

Reason: the cooling area of the evaporator is reduced, the condensation area is also reduced, and the condensed water volume is reduced.

6. The gas and liquid valves of the outdoor unit have oil stains, which will cause leakage.

Cause: Refrigerant and refrigerant oil have a certain degree of mutual solubility. Fluorine escapes from the leak point and enters the atmosphere, while the oil adheres around the leak point.

7. Measure that the working current of the air conditioner is less than the rated current.

Cause: The compressor workload is reduced and the current is reduced due to insufficient refrigerant.

8. The pressure measured from the fluorine filling port of the outdoor unit is lower than 0.45Mpa.

Cause: the evaporation pressure drops due to insufficient refrigerant.

In addition, frost on any valve of the outdoor unit is abnormal; Only frost on the liquid pipe valve indicates "lack of fluorine"; Only the frosting of the air pipe valve indicates that there is a slight "lack of fluorine" or the ambient temperature is too low; Frost on both valves indicates that the system has secondary throttling.
