Overview
As a new environmentally friendly insulating and arc-extinguishing gas, perfluoroisobutyronitrile C4F7N is used in power equipment instead of SF6. It can be mixed with one or more of CO2, N2, O2, and air, and filled into the hermetic enclosure of medium or high voltage equipment and used in electrical components with solid dielectric layers. Perfluoroisobutyronitrile is used in medium and high-voltage power equipment and has the following characteristics: friendly environmental characteristics, excellent insulation properties, excellent arc extinguishing performance, good compatibility with materials inside the switch, low toxicity and no flash point meet health and safety requirements, can adapt to harsh low-temperature environmental requirements.
