Perfluorooctane (C8F18) has a melting point of-25℃ and a boiling point of 103℃. It is non-combustible, non-toxic, and has high chemical stability. It is a colorless, transparent liquid with a slight smell of kerosene. Perfluorooctane is insoluble in water, ethanol, acetic acid, and formaldehyde, but can be soluble in diethyl ether, acetone, methylene chloride, chloroform and alkanes. It has low surface tension and high dielectric strength, and has very good heat resistance. The decomposition temperature exceeds 800℃. Perfluorooctane can dissolve large amounts of oxygen and carbon dioxide, and can be used in conjunction with other fluorocarbons as artificial blood and organ preservation solutions after in vitro.

Packaging and storage:
The packaging specifications of perfluorooctane are as follows: 25g and 500g plastic bottles, 5kg plastic drums, and 25kg and 50kg steel-plastic drums. Packaging can be customized and changed according to user requirements.
Perfluorooctane is stored in a cool and ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources. It should be stored separately from oxidants, edible chemicals, and alkali metals, and should not be mixed.
