Perfluorohexanone fire extinguishing agent is a new alternative to halon fire extinguishing agent. This fire extinguishing agent has excellent environmental protection performance and low toxicity characteristics. It has comprehensive properties such as high fire extinguishing efficiency, environmental protection and cleanliness, safe use, and no damage to electronic precision equipment.
Perfluorohexanone fire extinguishing agent has good environmental protection characteristics and has no destructive effect on the ozone layer. The ODP is 0, the global warming coefficient (GWP) is 1.0, and the survival life in the atmosphere (ALT) is 0.014 years. Although the ODP value of fluoroalkane halon alternative products is 0, its GWP value is relatively large, which has a negative effect on global warming and climate change. The environmental performance of FK-5-1-12 fire extinguishing agent meets the requirements of European and American environmental protection regulations, and is superior to the currently widely used halon alternatives.HFC-227ea、HFC-236faWait for other extinguishing agents.
FK-5-1-12 fire-extinguishing agent has excellent fire-extinguishing performance. Its fire-extinguishing concentration is 3.5% for Class A fires and 4.5 for Class B fires. It is closest to the performance of halon fire-extinguishing agents and far smaller than other fluoroalkane halon alternatives (5 for halon 1301; 7.5-8.7 for HFC-227ea; 30-75 for CO2). FK-5-1-12 fire extinguishing agent can extinguish Class A, B, and C fires. It is non-conductive and quickly vaporizes after spraying without residue.
Perfluorohexanone can also replace sulfur hexafluoride as a protective gas for smelting light metals such as magnesium.
