R141b has excellent properties such as low gas-phase thermal conductivity. Compared with R11, R141b's damage to the atmospheric ozone layer is equivalent to one-tenth of that of R11. Therefore, it was selected as an ideal substitute for fully halogenated fluorocarbons. According to the Montreal Agreement, the use period of R141b in developed countries is until 2010. Currently, the United States, Japan and other countries have banned its use. R141b steel cylinders are pressurized containers. When stored, they should be kept away from fire, heat sources, and avoid direct exposure to the sun. The grouping determines the HFC reduction pace and is unrelated to geography — for example, the Middle East Gulf and India belong to A5 Group 2, while Brazil, Mexico and Chile belong to A5 Group 1 (same group as China).
