Overview
As a new blowing agent for rigid polyurethane foam, cyclopentane is used to replace chlorofluorocarbons (CFCS), which have a destructive effect on the atmospheric ozone layer. It is now widely used in the production of fluorine-free refrigerators and freezers, as well as cold storage, pipeline insulation and other fields. As the deadline for banning ODS stipulated in Montreal and other conventions approaches, CFCs and HCFCs products will soon be banned, and cyclopentane will surely become the protagonist in the field of polyurethane blowing agents.
Cyclopentane is a flammable and explosive material. Keep away from heat sources, fire sources, oxidants and other chemical reagents. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. When transporting, load and unload gently to prevent packaging containers from vibrating. When transporting pipes, it must be electrostatically grounded. Do not swallow during operation and avoid inhaling steam. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, clothing, etc.
