Overview
Polytetrafluoroethylene (also known as PTFE, Teflon, Teflon) has outstanding excellent comprehensive properties, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, non-stick, self-lubricating, excellent dielectric properties, and a very low friction coefficient. Used as engineering plastics, it can be made into polytetrafluoroethylene pipes, rods, strips, plates, films, etc., and is generally used in corrosion-resistant pipelines, containers, pumps, valves with high performance requirements, as well as radars, high-frequency communication equipment, radio equipment, etc. By adding any filler that can withstand the sintering temperature of PTFE to PTFE, the mechanical properties can be greatly improved while maintaining other excellent properties of PTFE. The filled varieties include glass fiber, metals, metallized oxides, graphite, molybdenum disulfide, carbon fiber, polyimide, EKONOL, etc., and the wear resistance and limit PV value can be increased by 1000 times.
PTFE is one of the best corrosion resistant materials in the world and is known as the "King of Plastics." Polytetrafluoroethylene is a polymer of tetrafluoroethylene, abbreviated as PTFE, and its trade name is "Teflon" or "Teflon". The basic structure of polytetrafluoroethylene is: -CF2-. Polytetrafluoroethylene is widely used in various places that require acid, alkali and organic solvents. It is not toxic to humans itself, but ammonium perfluorooctanoate (PFOA), one of the raw materials used in the production process, is considered to have carcinogenic effects. Can work for a long time at temperatures from +250℃ to-180℃, and can withstand all other chemicals except molten metal sodium and liquid fluorine.

Polytetrafluoroethylene emulsion (PTFE) is a refrigerant/chemical product. It is widely used in refrigeration equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, water dispensers, automotive air conditioners, central air conditioning, dehumidifiers, cold storage and commercial refrigeration, as well as in aerosol propellants, blowing agents, fire-extinguishing and cleaning applications. See the product page for details.
Polytetrafluoroethylene emulsion (PTFE) is used as a common working fluid in refrigeration, air-conditioning and industrial applications. When replacing or retrofitting a system, qualified personnel should perform the work, paying attention to system compatibility and lubricant matching, and following relevant safety standards.
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse away from fire, heat sources and direct sunlight. Cylinders should be placed upright and protected from falling. Transport according to regulations for high-pressure gases or hazardous chemicals, with careful handling to avoid damage to cylinders and valves.
Ensure adequate ventilation at the workplace. Avoid direct skin contact with liquid refrigerant (risk of frostbite). Keep away from open flames and high heat. Use dedicated tools and protective equipment. In case of leakage, evacuate, ventilate and contact professionals.
The exact Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and Global Warming Potential (GWP) are listed in the Physical Properties table on the product page. Select refrigerants considering energy efficiency, safety and environmental impact.
Multiple package sizes are available (e.g., cylinders, drum or ton packages - see product page). Bulk orders are supported. Contact sales for the latest quote and lead time.
