HCR-22 refrigerant is a new environmentally friendly hydrocarbon refrigerant used in energy conservation and emission reduction projects. It uses refined and high-purity.propaneMixed alkanes such as butane, butane, etc. are mixed through a certain weight ratio. They are deeply purified and accurately prepared without damaging the ozone layer, having no greenhouse effect, and are completely environmentally friendly.
Characteristics of HCR-22
1. affordable
By weight, the amount of HCR-22 snow seed is onlyR22, 40-55% of R502, so it is more economical.
2. high-efficiency energy-saving
The freezing point is low and the latent heat of evaporation is greater, which makes the cooling speed faster per unit time; the isentropic compression specific work is small, which makes the compressor work easier and extends the service life of the compressor; the molecular weight is small, the liquidity is good, and the conveying pressure is lower, reducing the load on the compressor. Using HCR-22 snow and HCR-22 snow hydrocarbon refrigerants can reduce system operating costs and reduce fuel consumption when the air conditioner is turned on, with an energy saving rate of up to 35%, reducing energy consumption.
3. Good refrigeration
The cooling capacity per unit volume and unit mass is greater. The heat exchange performance of the condenser and evaporator is improved. Therefore, HCR-22 energy-saving snow refrigeration has better cost performance.
4. High oil mixing rate
Compatible with all commonly used refrigeration lubricants (mineral lubricants, synthetic lubricants), non-toxic, and non-corrosive to metals and rubber. However, many refrigerants require specially equipped refrigerant lubricating oils. If used incorrectly, problems will arise. Using hydrocarbon energy-saving refrigerants can prevent problems caused by incompatibility between refrigerant and refrigerant lubricating oils. Currently used more on the marketR134aRefrigerants are corrosive and require extremely high rubber materials in refrigeration systems and are incompatible with commonly used lubricating oils. Therefore, when the original R12 refrigerant filled automobile air conditioner is replaced with R134a refrigerant, it must be modified, otherwise the compressor will be damaged and expensive. In most cases, no matter what type of car air conditioner and other refrigeration equipment need to be replaced with HCR-22 snow, no modification is needed.
5. Convenient filling
The air conditioning system and filling procedures do not need to be changed. Just follow the original filling procedures. However, it is recommended to use a digital scale to ensure accurate filling volume.

R22 (Chlorodifluoromethane (HCFC-22)) belongs to the hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFC), with an ODP of 0.055, and is a Class II controlled substance under the Montreal Protocol, currently subject to the global phase-out schedule. Developed countries halted production and import in 2020; developing countries (including China) are advancing according to the schedule, with servicing stock tightening year by year.
