R508B ultra-low temperature refrigerants (R-508B, SUVA95, Genetron 508B) are environmentally friendly azeotropic refrigerants that are completely free of CFCs and HCFC substances that destroy the ozone layer. They are recognized and recommended by most countries in the world. Mainstream ultra-low temperature environmentally friendly refrigerants are widely used for re-addition during initial installation and maintenance of new refrigeration equipment (ultra-low temperature, cryogenic). R508B refrigerant belongs to the PFC class and is an industrial-grade alternative to R-13 and R503 in ultra-low temperature applications [as low as-40 ° F to-150 ° F (-40 ° C to-101 ° C)], such as pharmaceutical cold storage and environmental laboratories. This product is superior to the R23, including reduced compressor discharge temperatures, and is the best choice for critical applications that ensure the most appropriate system reliability. The R508B can be used in new equipment or can be used to replace existing systems. Although R508B refrigerant is the most common choice to replace Freon R503 and R13 in newly installed ultra-low temperature refrigeration equipment, since R508B is different from R503 and R13 in physical and chemical properties, theoretical cycle performance, and compressor oil, for after-sales maintenance of refrigeration equipment initially installed with R503 and R13 refrigerants, if it is necessary to add or replace additional refrigerants, only R503 and R13 can be added. Usually, R508B cannot be directly used to replace R503, R13 (that is to say, replacement in the form of blood exchange is usually not possible).
